The demolition of the historic Spreckels Sugar Refinery was completed with a strong focus on material recovery. Over 3 million bricks and 13,000 tons of metal were carefully salvaged, keeping a significant amount of material out of landfills and supporting responsible reuse. 

After proposing a 90-day project schedule, the client requested an accelerated timeline of 60 days. Leveraging efficient project management and streamlined operations, our team exceeded expectations by completing the project in under 60 days. 

Randazzo Enterprises, Inc. completed the hazardous materials abatement and demolition of twelve three-story concrete buildings and one nine-story concrete building for the San Francisco Housing Authority as part of the removal of dilapidated housing. 100% of all concrete was recycled from this project.

The scope of work required careful coordination due to the occupied military housing adjacent to the site. Randazzo was responsible for backfilling and compaction of existing basements. Work was completed to safely remove obsolete buildings and prepare the site for future educational development.

The scope required careful coordination to safely remove structures while prioritizing responsible material handling and recycling in preparation for future construction of an approximately 8 acre site. 

This project involved the emergency abatement and demolition of a fire-damaged packing plant in Salinas. Work was performed under urgent conditions to safely deal with hazardous materials (Asbestos, lead, & ammonia) and remove compromised areas. Work was completed without any injuries or further disruptions to an actively operating facility.   

The scope included major selective/interior demolition at the Pebble Beach Lodge and within guest quarters at Pebble Beach. Scope of work covered the demolition of patios, conference rooms, restaurants, bars, kitchen, and all guest-room restrooms. Structural demolition of concrete walls and roofs was also performed in preparation of planned renovations. All work was performed with careful coordination in an active hospitality environment to minimize disruption while maintaining safety and quality standards. 

Abatement, demolition, disposal, and recycling of the former Los Gatos Lodge. The scope includes the removal of over 200 trees, demolition of 10 multi-level structures, a swimming pool, and a large parking lot across a 10-acre site previously used for lodging, dining, and event space. The site is located at one of Los Gatos’ busiest intersections and directly borders Los Gatos High School, requiring careful coordination, safety planning, and traffic management. 

This project involves interior demolition within an active winery at Folktale Winery including removal of significant concrete sub-structures used to support wine tanks/equipment. Work is being performed with careful coordination to support renovation efforts while protecting surrounding operations and site features.
